Karishye Mahāśivarātri Pūjā Anubhavaṁ – 2026

Rs. 3,116
  • Choice of Participation

A guided family sādhana that begins on Mahāśivarātri and continues at home

Mahāśivarātri is not merely a night ritual; it is an inner alignment with Śiva-tattva—stillness, clarity, and transformation. Karishye’s Mahāśivarātri Pūjā Anubhavaṁ is designed as a complete experiential journey: preparation, immersion, and continuity as a daily sādhana thereafter.

The pūjā will be conducted at a serene, pious venue — Rama Durga Goshala & Temple https://maps.app.goo.gl/yALNwxtyHELaaUQt7 where families perform Rudrābhiṣekam along with us, with step-by-step explanations that reveal the why behind every act, mantra, and dravya.
This is not a one-day event; it is an initiation into a lifelong, simple Śaiva home practice.

Physical Participation (Strongly Recommended)

Being physically present at the venue allows:

  • Immersion into the sacred space

  • Direct experience of Rudrādhyāya chanting

  • Proper initiation of the Sphatika Śivaliṅga into your household sādhana

Online Participation (For Those Unable to Travel or Who Stay outside of Hyderabad / Out of country etc.)

For families who are unable to attend in person:

  • The same Mahāśivarātri Pūjā Kit will be delivered to your home (except for perishables which are only provided to families visiting the venue)

  • You will join the live guided Rudrābhiṣekam & pravacana

  • Abhiṣekam is performed simultaneously at home, following the same sequence

  • Pricing remains the same, as contributions are towards Gośālā and Veda Pāṭhaśāla and  integral to the dharmic offering and hence we want everyone’s money/dhravya

While physical presence deepens the experience, Śiva-anugraha is not limited by distance. Bhāva and sincerity are primary.

The Śivaliṅga at Home — Clearing Apprehensions

Many families hesitate to keep a Śivaliṅga at home due to myths or incomplete information. Classical Vedic guidance offers clarity and confidence — without fear or pressure.

Sphatika (Crystal) Śivaliṅga is fully gr̥hastha-appropriate.

No elaborate rituals are mandated. Pañcopacāra pūjā (five simple offerings) is sufficient.

Once consecrated during this Mahāśivarātri experience, it becomes your household Śiva.

IMPORTANT DISCIPLINE

Handling of the Sphatika Śivaliṅga is done by the male head of the family. Pūjā remains gentle and sattvik; no extreme observances are required. A complete, simple home procedure (≈15 minutes) will be shared.

Who Can Participate

Any devoted family wishing to experience Mahāśivarātri deeply

Prior ritual expertise is not required

Abhiṣekam is performed by the male head of the family, with family presence

FAQs

Yes. Sphatika Śivaliṅga is specifically recommended for household worship.
No fear narratives. Resume calmly the next day. Consistency, not anxiety, is Śaiva discipline.
No. Chanting and meaning are guided step-by-step.

Absolutely. Women participate fully—through mantra śravaṇa, dhyāna, bhāva, and shared saṅkalpam. This is not a question of hierarchy, but of classical Vaidika role-alignment.

Śāstra-based Continuity Āgamic tradition configurations available to us assign the external kriyā (abhiṣekam) to the karta.
Energetic Grounding Abhiṣekam is an outward kriyā. Grace is never limited by who pours the water; it is invoked for all.
Balance of Roles Śaiva practice is about balance of energies. Women anchor the family through dhyāna and bhāva.
