These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Karishye’s website, products, and services, including (a) Puja & Homam booking services (with/without samagri) and (b) Samagri / puja-materials e-commerce. By accessing our site, placing an order, booking a service, or making any payment/advance, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. INTRODUCTION

Karishye provides a platform to book Vedic pujas/homams (Telugu-led) and to purchase samagri. We use modern planning/logistics to help households perform shastra-aligned rituals with clarity and convenience.

Important: We do not provide astrology, numerology, tarot, Reiki/“healing,” KP/Prashna, Vaastu consulting, or similar advisory services. Any references on legacy pages are deprecated and not offered.

2. BUSINESS POLICY

We operate two offerings: (i) Puja/Homam bookings (optionally with samagri included) and (ii) Samagri e-commerce.
Supplemental policies published on our site (shipping/returns, privacy, etc.) are incorporated by reference.
We may update Terms at any time. Continued use = acceptance of changes.
We primarily serve Telangana & Andhra Pradesh (select cities/districts). Out-station services are case-by-case, subject to feasibility and extra charges. Access from other jurisdictions is your responsibility to comply with local laws.

3. ELIGIBILITY TO USE SITE

You must be legally competent to contract under Indian law (18+).
We may grant, refuse, or terminate access at our discretion without assigning reasons.

4. SIGNUP / REGISTRATION

Keep your registration details true, accurate, current, complete.
You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.
False or incomplete information may lead to suspension/termination.

5. REPRESENTATIONS

User representations: You (i) have capacity to contract, (ii) will comply with these Terms and applicable laws, (iii) will not use automation/bots or engage in unlawful activity, and (iv) will provide accurate inputs for sankalpam (names, gotra, nakshatra), addresses, dates, and contacts.

Karishye representations: Except where expressly promised in writing, services/products are provided “as is”. We do not warrant outcomes, efficacy, or any guaranteed result of rituals.

6. USE OF MATERIALS

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view/download site materials for personal use only. You may not modify, remove notices, or commercially exploit our content without prior written consent.

7. PURCHASES, GUARANTEES & PAYMENT

Provide accurate billing, email, and phone details.
Prices may change; applicable taxes are added per law.
Accepted payments: UPI, net-banking, cards, select wallets; bank transfer on request.
Puja Bookings: An advance payment is mandatory to secure a slot/pujari. See Section 9.
Samagri: Images are illustrative; natural variance in colour/texture/packaging may occur.
We may correct pricing errors even after payment (with the option to cancel and credit/refund any over-payment to original mode or as store credit, at our discretion).

8. SHIPPING & DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS (SAMAGRI)

Dispatch: Typically 1–3 business days for in-stock items; delivery 3–10 business days depending on PIN code/courier. Peaks/festivals may add time.
Serviceability: If your PIN is unserviceable, we’ll coordinate alternatives or cancel with refund/credit.
Delivery attempts: Couriers usually attempt 1–2 times. Undelivered returns due to wrong address/unreachable recipient attract re-shipping charges.
International shipping: Not offered unless explicitly stated.

9. CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING / REFUNDS (BOOKINGS)

Advance is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE for all puja/homam bookings. Paying the advance enables:
- Muhurtham assistance,
- Pujari/date lock on priority,
- Samagri planning and logistics.
Indicative/Tentative Total on product pages (e.g., “typical total ~₹30,000”) is an estimate. Final price may vary by city/area, travel/parking/tolls, added rituals, no. of pujaris/assistants, samagri grade/quantity, extended duration, peak/festive demand, and local constraints.
Balance Payment: Payable before commencement of the ritual (or as directed). Non-payment may lead to cancellation with forfeiture of advance.
Rescheduling by Customer:
- ≥72 hours before start: one reschedule may be allowed subject to pujari availability at no extra charge.
- <72 hours: reschedule may attract a fee (logistics/availability dependent).
Cancellation by Customer: You may cancel anytime; advance remains non-refundable. If we already procured non-returnable samagri or committed travel/logistics, you agree to pay such actuals.
Rescheduling/Cancellation by Karishye: If unforeseen issues arise (illness, force majeure, venue restrictions), we’ll offer alternate slots. If none are workable, we may issue a service credit (up to the advance) valid 6 months. Cash refunds are generally not provided.

10. CUSTOMER CARE

Queries/concerns: hello@karishye.co · +91 81210 07481 (Mon–Sat, 9:00–19:00 IST). We aim for timely responses; off-hour replies may be delayed.

11. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to: scrape, mine, or mirror content; spam; misuse support; circumvent security; reverse-engineer; upload malware; automate account creation; impersonate others; harass staff; compete using our IP; or violate any law. We may suspend/terminate for violations and pursue legal remedies.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All site content, write-ups (including ritual explanations), photos, videos, product descriptions, compilations, and trademarks (“Karishye”, logos) are our IP or licensed to us. No copying, reproduction, or derivative works without written permission. Limited personal-use license applies.

13. CONTRIBUTION LICENSE (REVIEWS/COMMENTS)

If you post reviews, feedback, or content (“Contributions”), you grant Karishye a worldwide, perpetual, transferable, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and create derivative works, including your posted name/image, for legitimate purposes. You waive moral rights and warrant you own the content.

14. GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Contributions must be truthful, respectful, non-defamatory, legal, non-discriminatory, and free of third-party IP violations. No coordinated review manipulation. We may moderate, move, or remove content at our discretion.

15. SOCIAL MEDIA

You may link third-party social accounts. Where you do, you permit us to access/share permitted content for account features. Your relationship with third-party platforms is governed by their terms. You can disconnect at any time via settings/notice to us.

16. SUBMISSIONS (IDEAS/FEEDBACK)

Suggestions, ideas, or proposals sent to us are non-confidential and become our property without obligation to compensate, attribute, or implement.

17. SITE MANAGEMENT

We may monitor the site for compliance, restrict access, remove heavy/burdensome files, and take legal action against abuse or rights violations.

18. COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENTS

We respect IP. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, email hello@karishye.co with details (work, location/URL, your contact, good-faith statement, and authorization). False claims may attract liability under applicable law.

19. TERM & TERMINATION

These Terms remain effective while you use the site/services. We may suspend or terminate access/accounts at any time for breaches, legal requirements, safety, technical reasons, or discontinuance. On termination, your license ends; we may retain minimal data as required by law.

20. MODIFICATIONS & INTERRUPTIONS

We may modify or discontinue any part of the site/services without notice. Downtime, maintenance, or technical issues may occur. We are not liable for unavailability, delays, or losses arising from interruptions.

21. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Governing Law: India.
Arbitration: Any dispute shall be resolved by confidential arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana, before a sole arbitrator appointed per applicable law; proceedings in English.
Courts: Subject to arbitration, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.

This clause survives termination.

22. CORRECTIONS

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing/availability) at any time without prior notice.

23. NOTICES

Official notices to Karishye: hello@karishye.co

We may notify you via email/SMS/WhatsApp/website banners. Delivery issues on your side (spam filters/changed number) are your responsibility.

24. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karishye, its founders, employees, pujaris, and partners are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, data, goodwill). Our aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product/service.

Ritual outcomes are not guaranteed. Spiritual benefits are subjective; we act in good faith per shastra and sampradaya.

25. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Karishye, its affiliates, officers, employees, pujaris, and partners from claims/losses/liabilities/costs (including legal fees) arising from: (i) your breach of these Terms; (ii) your misuse of services/products; (iii) unsafe/non-compliant venue conditions; (iv) your Contributions/ Submissions; (v) violations of law or third-party rights.

26. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, TRANSACTIONS & SIGNATURES

Visiting the site, emailing us, or using online forms constitutes electronic communication. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that e-signatures, digital contracts, and records satisfy legal requirements for written communications.

27. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure/delay due to events beyond reasonable control: acts of God, epidemics, govt. orders, strikes, civil unrest, transport failures, extreme weather, fire, flood, equipment breakdown (including video/virtual issues), or similar. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate and resume performance as soon as practicable.

28. MISCELLANEOUS

Independent Parties: Nothing creates partnership/agency/joint venture.
Assignment: We may assign/transfer our rights/obligations; you may not assign without our consent.
Severability: If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
Entire Agreement: These Terms + referenced policies/confirmations form the entire agreement between you and Karishye.
Drafting: These Terms shall not be construed against Karishye for having drafted them.

PUJA-SPECIFIC SAFETY & ON-SITE REQUIREMENTS (Important)

Homam/Fire Safety: Ensure ventilation, non-flammable surroundings, and local permissions. Keep water/sand/fire-extinguisher ready.
Venue Readiness: Access, seating, basic tables, and society/venue permissions are your responsibility.
If fire is restricted by venue/society/law, we may convert to a non-fire parayanam/japa/archana format at our discretion; pricing may remain similar due to planning and man-hours.
Right to Halt: We may halt a ritual for safety/legal concerns. Advance and incurred costs remain chargeable.

SAMAGRI E-COMMERCE: RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS (Detailed)

Non-returnable: Opened/used items; consumables/edibles; sacred powders/oils/pastes; customized kits; items sold as sets if any part is missing; items exposed to heat/moisture/contamination; dated festival items.
Damaged/Wrong Item: Email hello@karishye.co within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing photos/video. Upon verification, we’ll replace or issue store credit.
Change-of-Mind: Generally not accepted. If exceptionally allowed at our discretion, two-way shipping is borne by customer and the item must be sealed and saleable.
Refund Method/Timeline (if applicable): Original mode or store credit within 5–7 business days post approval. Cash refunds are rare and at our sole discretion.

QUICK HIGHLIGHTS (Not a substitute for full T&C)

Advance for puja bookings is strictly non-refundable.
Product images are illustrative; natural variations occur.
Reschedules: ≥72h possible (subject to availability); <72h may attract fees.
Homams require safety/permissions; we may switch to non-fire format if restricted.
E-commerce returns are limited; report damages within 48h with proof.
