Opening Puja Procedure
The step-by-step Opening Puja vidhanam — from the doorway puja to Lakshmi-Kubera, the Vastu kalasha and the inauguration on the muhurtham.
Preparation
The premises are cleaned and decorated, the doorway adorned with toranam, rangoli (muggu) and mango leaves, and the deities and kalasham arranged. Karishye’s purohit brings the prescribed samagri and confirms the muhurtham.
How the Opening Puja is performed
Dwara Puja
The main doorway is honoured with deepam, turmeric, kumkum and auspicious symbols.
Ganapati Puja & Sankalpa

Punyahavachanam & Vastu Kalasha
Purification and the Vastu kalasha sthapana, invoking the deities.
