What samagri is needed for Rudrabhishekam?
Rudrabhishekam needs the abhisheka dravyas — milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar, coconut water and Ganga water — plus bilva leaves, vibhuti (holy ash), sandalwood, turmeric, kumkuma, white sesame, camphor, deepam oil and the sacred thread. The full checklist with Telugu names is above.
What is Eka Rudram?
Eka Rudram is a single recitation of the Sri Rudram (Namakam & Chamakam) offered to Lord Shiva during abhishekam. Larger versions include Ekadasa Rudram (eleven recitations).
Do I need to buy each item separately?
No. The ready-made Rudrabhishekam (Eka Rudram) Kit already includes all the essential samagri above. You only arrange common vessels and fresh abhisheka items like milk and coconut at home.
